DeveKids is a brand dedicated to creating high-quality, Montessori-inspired furniture that promotes the natural development and growth of children. Founded in 2021 by Kristaps and Niklavs, DeveKids combines generations of woodworking expertise with a passion for empowering children to learn, explore, and thrive in their environment.
Our Story
When Kristaps became a father, he was inspired to create a better learning tower for his son. He approached his friend Niklavs, a skilled woodworker, and together they designed their first product. Realizing the potential for bettering children's products, they decided to start DeveKids under the parent company, DAINIKO SIA. The brand name "DeveKids" is a combination of the words "development" and "kids," reflecting our commitment to fostering children's growth and learning.
Our Team
Kristaps and Niklavs are not only the founders of DeveKids, but also the driving force behind our innovative designs and high-quality products. Both Kristaps and Niklavs hold bachelor's degrees and engineering diplomas, with Kristaps focusing on sales and marketing, while Niklavs manages production. As third-generation woodworkers, they draw on their family's rich history in carpentry and engineering to create exceptional furniture for children.

All of our furniture is painted with water-based colors or lacquers, ensuring minimal environmental impact. Additionally, our production processes generate no waste, reflecting our dedication to preserving the planet for future generations.
